Put a 'spring' in your step with these healthy, tasty treats



Spring is a special time of the year.


Whether it’s an opportunity to enjoy a refreshing breeze while taking a walk – or escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life by going camping or hiking – I’m delighted to say good-bye to winter and hello to spring!


To become more active after a long winter, though, you need added energy. That’s why I’m proud that HYGGEWellbeing – which I launched last year – has a full range of food, drinks and supplements to help keep people fueled for the entire day while contributing to a healthier lifestyle.


Here are some of my favourites that you should consider blending into your current routine as the weather improves and you become more active outdoors. They just may put an extra spring in your step.


Start off my day

I usually start off my day with a Matcha Latte, using ingredients from our own premium matcha powder that is organically grown in a countryside in Japan. Besides being refreshing, the ingredients help detoxify your body.


I also enjoy adding Kind granola into my cereal and fruit in waffles to provide nourishment and energy to tackle whatever lies ahead.

Throughout the day

To sustain my energy throughout the day, my go-to snacks are milkshakes and protein bars – including Crunchy Fudge and Cookies and Cream – from the Barebells line.


As temperatures begin to rise, you can also use the matcha powder to make a refreshing popsicle or smoothie.


In the evening

When winding down after a busy day of work – or following a hectic weekend of outdoor activities – I enjoy mixing chia seeds into my salad and meals from brands such as Navitas Organics.


Bring on more yoga!

With cold, wintry weather becoming a distant memory, one of the outdoor activities I’m looking forward to enjoying more often is yoga – especially after earning my Yoga teaching certificate (Yay!).

Time to spring into action
